Indian EbonyBag, Cup and BellowsChanter Sold Separately

Ideal for: Players beginning the Irish uilleann pipes

A starter set for the Irish uilleann pipes, played with bellows.

Uilleann pipes are the Irish bagpipes, filled by a bellows under the arm rather than by mouth. This Roosebeck starter set is Indian ebony and includes the bag with its cup and the bellows. The chanter is sold separately: the Roosebeck uilleann practice chanter fits this set.

What You Need

Add a chanter to play. The practice chanter fits this set, so there is no need to buy an expensive chanter to get started. Expect to spend time setting up the reed and learning to work the bellows and bag together; a teacher or an experienced piper helps a great deal.
