"I am very thankful for the Roosebeck mountain dulcimers. They are reliable all year round. I absolutely appreciate the Grace, specifically the rosewood with the F-hole design."

A new store, not a new workshop.

Roosebeck instruments have been sold and played worldwide for decades through the dealers who carry them. Roosebeck.com is our own workshop storefront, newly opened. The first verified customer reviews are arriving now, and every one shown here will come from a real order.

"The Music Inn has carried mountain dulcimers, harps, balalaikas, Native American style flutes, and ouds from EnSoul Music for years. Our customers have had positive results, and we consider them excellent instruments."

The best folk instruments are not finished in the workshop. They are finished by the people who play them for the next decade.

Where Roosebeck Comes From

Built on a simple idea.

Every Roosebeck instrument begins with solid tonewoods like rosewood, walnut, mulberry, and spruce, cured before they ever reach the workshop. Soundboards are matched to body woods for tone, not cost. Fretboards are hand-dressed. Bridges, nuts, and action are set by our luthiers. Nothing leaves the bench until it plays the way it should.

That craftsmanship is why our mountain dulcimers turn up in folk festivals and living rooms across the country. Our Celtic harps live in churches, classrooms, and concert halls. Our bodhrans are played loud in pub sessions and on stages from coast to coast. Decades later, we still believe in making quality instruments without cutting corners.
