Ideal for: Beginners who want their first real harp to also be a beautiful piece of craftsmanship
The walnut Baby Harp with hand-carved Celtic knotwork.
Same proven Baby Harp, dressed up. A 12-string walnut frame with hand-carved Celtic knotwork in the side panels. The musical core is identical to the standard Walnut Baby Harp: 12 DuPont nylon strings tuned F4 to C6, solid walnut construction, and a birch plywood soundboard. The added knotwork takes a great-sounding starter harp and turns it into a piece you'll want to leave on display.
Warm, Mellow Walnut Tone
Twelve DuPont hard nylon strings paired with a solid walnut frame and birch plywood soundboard produce a warm, mellow voice with real sustain. The range from F4 to C6 covers most simple folk melodies.
About walnut: Walnut is prized for warm, balanced tone. Its medium density gives the Baby Harp a softer, rounder voice compared to harder rosewood frames.
Hand-Carved Knotwork in Solid Walnut
Each side panel is hand-carved with traditional Celtic knotwork. Because the carving is done by hand, no two harps are identical. The interplay between the dark walnut grain and the carved detail gives this harp a presence that a plain frame can't match.
Heirloom-quality detail: Hand-carved knotwork takes substantially more workshop time than a plain frame. The result is an instrument that looks as good as it sounds.
Diatonic, No Levers, Easy to Pick Up
Like the standard Baby Harp, this is an unlevered diatonic instrument. Tune it to a single key (most players start in C major) and play within that key. Folk melodies, simple arrangements, and chord progressions sit comfortably under your fingers.
New to harp? No levers means no fuss. Tune it once, sit down, and play.
